Welcome back Wolverines! First, we want to thank everyone for all of your continued support, we cannot do what we do without you! Here are some important announcements for the upcoming school year:
Early Outs- This year early outs will be on Wednesdays, instead of Tuesdays. All students will be dismissed at 2:56 PM on Wednesdays.
Morning drop-offs- if you are going to come into the building in the morning, please park in a parking spot and do not leave your car in the drop off lane
Homecoming- this will be a little early this year, homecoming week is Sept. 8-13
After School Program- We plan on starting the After School Program for K-4th graders starting Monday, Sept. 15 as well as Mr. Mirdoddi’s math tutoring for 5th-12th graders
School Open House- Will be Sept. 18 from 6-7 PM. Come see the school and meet the teachers. We will be grilling burgers and dogs for everyone again this year.
School Pictures- EK-5th Grades will be Sept. 23; 6th-12th Grades will be Sept. 24.
Attendance- this is an emphasis for us this year. Below is a list of dates that students will not have school this year. While we know you can’t always make appointments on these days, we ask that you do your best to make appointments on days with no school.
No school on these dates:
9/1; 10/1, 16, 17; 11/24-28; 12/22-31; 1/1, 2, 23; 2/20, 26, 27; 3/30, 31; 4/1, 2, 3; 5/25

Currently there are 133 students in Early Kindergarten through the 5th grade, 58 kids in 6th through 8th grade, and 65 students in 9th through 12th grade. Last year we had more High School students enrolled in Advanced Placement and Dual Credit courses than ever before in our school and we are hoping to increase that total this year! It is great to see so many students pushing themselves to take college level classes in high school. All 3 levels of our school received regular accreditation once again this past year.
All of our fall sports teams are away this weekend, but the High School Volleyball team will have their first home game Tuesday, Sept. 2 and both the HS and JH Football teams will have their first home games of the year Saturday, September 6th. The Junior High Volleyball team’s first home game is Tuesday, September 9th. We hope to see everyone come and support our Wolverines!

¡Bienvenidos de nuevo, Wolverines! Primero, queremos agradecerles a todos por su continuo apoyo. ¡No podemos hacer lo que hacemos sin ustedes! Aquí tienen algunos anuncios importantes para el próximo año escolar:
Salidas Tempranas: Este año, las salidas tempranas serán los Miércoles, en lugar de los Martes. Todos los estudiantes saldrán a las 2:56 p. m. los Miércoles.
Dejar a los niños por la mañana: Si van a entrar al edificio por la mañana, por favor, estacionen en un lugar seguro y no dejen su auto en el carril de entrada.
Regreso a Casa: Este año se adelantará un poco; la semana de regreso a casa es del 8 al 13 de Septiembre.
Programa Extraescolar: Planeamos comenzar el Programa Extraescolar para estudiantes de kínder a 4.º grado a partir delLlunes 15 de Septiembre, así como la tutoría de matemáticas del Sr. Mirdoddi para estudiantes de 5.º a 12.º grado.
Casa Abierta: Será el 18 de Septiembre de 6 a 7 p. m. Vengan a ver la escuela y a conocer a los maestros. Este año volveremos a preparar hamburguesas y perritos calientes a la parrilla para todos.
Las fotos escolares de EK a 5.º grado serán el 23 de Septiembre; las de 6.º a 12.º grado serán el 24 de Septiembre.
Asistencia: este año es un tema prioritario para nosotros. A continuación, se muestra una lista de las fechas en las que los estudiantes no tendrán clases. Si bien sabemos que no siempre es posible programar citas en estos días, les pedimos que hagan lo posible por programar citas en los días sin clases. No hay clases en estas fechas:1/9; 1, 16 y 17/10; 24-28/11; 22-31/12; 1, 2 y 23/1; 20, 26 y 27/2; 30 y 31/3; 1, 2 y 3/4; 25/5. Actualmente hay 133 estudiantes desde preescolar hasta quinto grado, 58 niños de sexto a octavo grado y 65 estudiantes de noveno a duodécimo grado. El año pasado, tuvimos más estudiantes de preparatoria inscritos en cursos de Colocación Avanzada y Doble Crédito que nunca en nuestra escuela, ¡y esperamos aumentar ese total este año! Es fantástico ver a tantos estudiantes esforzándose por tomar clases de nivel universitario en la preparatoria. Los tres niveles de nuestra escuela recibieron la acreditación regular una vez más el año pasado.
Todos nuestros equipos deportivos de otoño estarán fuera este fin de semana, pero el equipo de voleibol de preparatoria tendrá su primer partido en casa el Martes 2 de Septiembre, y los equipos de fútbol americano de preparatoria y secundaria tendrán sus primeros partidos en casa del año el Sábado 6 de Septiembre. El primer partido en casa del equipo de voleibol de preparatoria es el Martes 9 de Septiembre. ¡Esperamos que todos vengan a apoyar a nuestros Wolverines!
