Montana Innovative Educational Program Tax Credit

WHAT IS IT?

An opportunity for individuals and businesses to redirect their Montana state tax liability directly to West Yellowstone School. You receive a dollar-for-dollar state tax credit for 100% of your donation amount (up to $200,000 per individual).

WHERE DO THE FUNDS GO?

Every dollar stays right here in West Yellowstone. These funds support vital programs outside of general school funding, such as:

* Innovative classroom instruction & technology.

* Career and Technical Education (CTE).

* Student enrichment and supplemental programs.

WHY IS TIMING CRITICAL?

The state has a $6 million total cap for these credits, issued on a first-come, first-served basis.

* THE REALITY: Last year, the entire statewide $6M cap was claimed in just over an hour on opening day.
