pre k kids

The West Yellowstone School District is continuing its Early Intervention program for 4 year olds for the 2026-2027 school year.  If you have a child who will turn 4 years of age by September 10, 2026, they may be eligible for this program.  An eligible child is defined as a child who, after taking our early literacy screener and numeracy screener, has been determined to be below a trajectory leading to reading or math proficiency at the end of 3rd grade. We will be running a full time program for these kids that follows our K-2 schedule, however parents will have the option to have their students enrolled on a part time basis.  This program is free to all students and breakfast and lunch will be included in their day.  We are partnering with Head Start to help us run this program and provide support to both our students and their families.  We plan on conducting another literacy screener on Wednesday, August 3rd from 9:00 am -12:00 pm.  Please call 406-646-7617 to sign up your child for the screening.  We only have 4 more slots to fill, so please sign up early.  If you have any questions please contact Mr. Orsini, rorsini@wolverine.life, or Mr. Flanagan, kflanagan@wolverine.life.   We are excited to meet you and your child!
